Privacy Policy
The short version
- Vellness keeps your health records, and those of family members you add, in one place. You choose what goes in.
- We do not sell your personal information, show advertising or track you.
- You can delete documents, profiles or your whole account in the app.
- Links you share are controlled by you: they expire and you can revoke them.
1. Who we are
Vellness is operated by Magicanvas, run by Himanshu Parashar, 5439 Knights Valley Ln, Antioch, California 94531, United States. Contact: hi@magicanvas.in.
2. Information we collect
- Account details: your name, e-mail address and a password hash (never your password in readable form).
- Health information: documents, results and readings you add or scan.
- Profile details for the people whose records you keep, such as family members.
- Technical information: such as IP address, device name and logs.
3. How we use it
- To provide and secure the service.
- To show you your records and trends.
- To create share links when you ask us to.
- To send verification and password-reset e-mails.
- To provide support and to comply with the law.
We do not sell personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
4. Third-party services
We use a hosting provider (Bluehost) to run the service and an e-mail delivery service to send you e-mails. When you scan a report, the pages and their text are sent to our servers to be processed. To read scanned reports, we may use third-party AI text processing. It is applied only to report text from which personal identifiers, such as names, phone numbers and ID numbers, have been removed.
5. Sharing links
You can create a link that lets someone view selected records. You control it: it expires after a set time, and you can revoke it at any time. Anyone who has the link can open it, so share it only with people you trust.
6. Retention and deletion
- You can delete documents, profiles and your whole account in the app.
- Deleted documents and profiles are removed from the active service immediately and permanently deleted within 30 days.
- When you delete your account, your data is deleted immediately. A limited activity log is kept for 30 days and then removed.
- We take a backup once a day. Deleted data may remain in backups until they are overwritten in the normal cycle.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure. If a data breach affects you, we will notify you as required by law. 8. Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, export (as a PDF in the app) and delete your information. To ask for help with any of these, contact us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information.
9. Children
The service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children without a parent or guardian.
10. International
Your data is stored on Bluehost servers. By using the service, you understand that it may be processed where those servers are located.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and change the date above.
