Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how FloatDial, provided by Magic Canvas, handles information when you use the FloatDial iPhone app and Home Screen widget.

FloatDial does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data. It does not require an account and does not operate a server that receives app data.

Information stored on your device

FloatDial stores the dial face and movement options you select so that the app and its widget can display your choices. These preferences are stored locally in an Apple App Group shared only by FloatDial and its widget extension.

This information is not transmitted to Magic Canvas or any third party.

Data collection

FloatDial does not collect data from the app. In particular, it does not collect:

  • Names, email addresses, or other contact information
  • Location, contacts, photos, or health information
  • Device identifiers, usage analytics, diagnostics, or advertising data
  • Purchase, payment, or financial information

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

FloatDial does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. It does not track you across apps or websites and does not use data for advertising or profiling.

Third parties and data sharing

Because FloatDial does not collect app data, there is no app data to sell or share with service providers, advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.

Retention and deletion

Your local FloatDial preferences remain on your device until you change them or remove the app. You can delete the app and its locally stored data using the standard controls provided by iOS. FloatDial has no user account or server-side app data requiring a separate deletion request.

Children’s privacy

FloatDial does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

If FloatDial’s privacy practices change, this policy and the app’s App Store privacy information will be updated as appropriate. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision.
